Postdoctoral Associate in Political Economy

The W. Allen Wallis Institute of Political Economy is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral associate position. The appointment is for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Institute, which is a collaborative effort of the University of Rochester's Departments of Economics and Political Science, is dedicated to fostering the growth of the interdisciplinary field of political economy.

Applicants should have strong interest in political economy and will be expected to participate in the intellectual life of the economics and political science departments. They will also be required to teach one course in political economy or in their discipline during the academic year. The precise courses will, as much as possible, follow the associate’s choices.

Applicants must have received their PhD's in political science, economics, or political economy by September 1, 2024. (Applicants will normally have received their degrees within the previous five years.) The University of Rochester, an Equal Opportunity Employer, has a strong commitment to principles of diversity and actively encourages applications from groups underrepresented in higher education.
